Bump’s new method to share photos from a mobile app to a computer is really clever.

Using simple technology (the phone’s accelerometer matched against the time the spacebar was pressed), they’re able to pull off a magical effect as the photo instantly appears on computer’s screen.

They’ve made photo sharing not only an intuitive process, but also into a really cool parlor trick.

Try it out.

Very cool.

I’ve wanted a slick, minimal smartwatch that connects to my iPhone for years. There have been plenty of attempts at this, especially recently, but the Pebble project on Kickstarter is the first one that I would actually love to see on my wrist. The Pebble is a slim, attractive watch with an e-paper display. It has a vibrator, a three-axis accelerometer and Bluetooth 2.1 EDR for connecting to your phone. The e-paper display is easily visible in daylight, just like a Kindle’s screen. The battery has a life of 7 days, the lens is scratch resistant and it’s charged via USB. Android 5.0 to beat Windows 8 to market?
A Digitimes report has indicated that Android 5.0 (Jelly Bean) will be released in the second quarter of 2012, ahead of an anticipated Windows 8 release in the third quarter.
According to supply chain sources, Google is hoping new tablets will be powerful enough to support dual operating systems, while planning to push Andriod onto notebooks and netbooks as well.

Android 5.0 will be further optimized for tablet PCs, while Google will also integrate its Chrome system functions to push dual-operating system designs. Brand vendors can either choose to adopt only Android 5.0 or add Android 5.0 to Windows 8 devices with the ability to switch between the two OSes without the need to shut down the computer.

Seventy percent of tablet-owning households with kids under 12 say their children use their tablet devices. What’s so interesting is that that’s a 9 percent increase from the third quarter to the fourth quarter of 2011.
How young is too young for kids to get into technology?

There haven’t been a better moment for Microsoft to start integrating products, services, design and philosophies than right now. With Windows 8, a lot of stuff will become part of each other as the software will not only be tied by the Metro UI, but the functionality: seamless integration of services like SkyDrive, Messenger, Skype, and others, will make people realize the potential of the Microsoft ecosystem.
